By the way, if you ask the DJ's politely, they will usually try to accommodate requests for more Northern Soul. The later DJ who was on 2-4am played more of a mixed vibe to accommodate both the people from The Jam gig (who would no doubt enjoy Squeeze) and the late clubbers. I know that he only played soul and played quite a few Northern Soul songs in the mix as I was there and he is a fantastic DJ, I'm sorry if you do not agree.

The DJ after the band was Andrew Marshall, a respected soul and mod DJ who played a mix of soul from Northern to funky to mod to jazzy - a really good mix, we were very happy with what he played. We are a soul and retro club, we play cool soul and retro music, all our DJs are music lovers and avid music collectors. However, I should point out that we do not brand ourselves as a Northern Soul club, we do however love Northern Soul and try to mix it in with other music that fits the vibe of the club. Nothing was to much trouble for her or the staff! Communication was exceptional throughout the couple of months planning our big night.
