We did not allow anyone over our legal capacity of 250, however, for future events of this kind we may limit the capacity to less as this situation had not happened before and we want everyone to be comfortable. By the way, if you ask the DJ's politely, they will usually try to accommodate requests for more Northern Soul. The later DJ who was on 2-4am played more of a mixed vibe to accommodate both the people from The Jam gig (who would no doubt enjoy Squeeze) and the late clubbers. I know that he only played soul and played quite a few Northern Soul songs in the mix as I was there and he is a fantastic DJ, I'm sorry if you do not agree.

The DJ after the band was Andrew Marshall, a respected soul and mod DJ who played a mix of soul from Northern to funky to mod to jazzy - a really good mix, we were very happy with what he played. We are a soul and retro club, we play cool soul and retro music, all our DJs are music lovers and avid music collectors. However, I should point out that we do not brand ourselves as a Northern Soul club, we do however love Northern Soul and try to mix it in with other music that fits the vibe of the club. Hello, thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry that you did not have a good time in our venue. Thanks Mazz and everyone who sorted our great night and could be back again soon. For me just needed a bit more Motown, Northern Soul but I'm bias cause this is how we first loved the place. The Night Owl is retro and simple in its design which is great.
Since we have visited one of our family who works in entertainment in Swansea was very impressed. the group fluctuates from a duo to a six person band and often features members of other bands. they've since added Baylin Adahere on washtub bass. they were formed in 2007 by guitarist Kit " Stymee" Stovepipe and tenor banjoist Windy City Alex. A band of musicians with an eclectic taste in music and with the skills to play various styles & genres. One member of our group who is very much involved in the Manchester scene said he wished there was something like it up there. the Crow Quill Night Owls the Crow Quill Night Owls are a band that plays jug band, jazz, and string band music of the 1920's and 1930's. Considering our group was from 22 - 60 we all thoroughly enjoyed our night. generally thrown so that one broad white band sheltered the right side. Since their inception, one of the things Night Owl has been the most passionate about is the independent country scene. We got there as the Oasis Tribute Band were finishing. Night Owl Country Band is a country music group based out of Columbus, Indiana, formed in 2015. We will definitely be recommending it to everyone we know for a party, event or a night out.Been a while since wrote a review. It really was everything we could have wanted with an amazing price to go with it! It was clean, spacious, all age appropriate with an idyllic atmosphere. Perfection.The night ran smoothly with no hiccups at all, Annabel was so on top of everything, we completed trusted her to help deliver one of the most important party's we will ever have.We were so thrilled with the outcome we have our friends booking up for the future, We also have Richards designer clothing sponsor Luke 1977 interested in hosting his charity nights here.Įveryone had an amazing cherish-able night. We had everything we could have wanted and more from drink deals, to outside catering, our own choice of DJ, photo projector to decor.
Nothing was to much trouble for her or the staff! Communication was exceptional throughout the couple of months planning our big night. We just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to Annabel Monkhouse, right from the get go she was so helpful, friendly and an overall angel. On Sunday 23rd October we had our wedding party at The Night Owl, Birmingham.
